Onyx Brass Publishing exists primarily to make available all the fantastic pieces that have become part of Onyx Brass’ repertoire. Numerous commissions of both original compositions and arrangements for brass quintet have never before been available as sheet music, until now. OBP is under the expert editorial control of the composer and arranger, Tim Jackson, who alongside his position is Principal Horn in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, is also in high demand for his expertly crafted compositions and arrangements.
The published products are primarily available as digital PDF downloads. The parts included unless specified are, trumpet in B flat and C, French horn in F, trombone and tuba parts, both in bass clef. Each product page has, where possible, a Spotify or Soundcloud sound clip and a pdf sample page from the score. A guide to difficulty from easy to difficult is given for each piece. Huge attention has been paid to quality of presentation and the legibility of the music.
